Our membership

We currently have more than 70 organizational and individual members who are work together through six sub-committees. We would love to have you join us on one of the committees. If there’s a committee you’d like to join, let us know on your membership application.

Community Outreach	The Community Outreach Committee will coordinate & facilitate a community forum in each Ulster County School District. This sub-committee will be responsible for reaching out to local community leaders within the 12 sectors recognized by SAMHSA.
Fundraising	The Fundraising Committee will investigate and pursue funding opportunities. Media The Media Committee will create and implement a media campaign that addresses our goals and objectives.
Recognition	The Recognition Committee will work with the community coalitions, organizations, schools, agencies, etc. to recognize the exceptional prevention efforts by law enforcement, prevention professionals, youth, and community members.
Special Events	The Special Events Committee will facilitate and/or create community events like the Legislative Breakfast, Youth Summit, and Red Ribbon Month activities.
Youth Council	The Youth Council plans strategies to reach their peers, advises the Board, and wil develop the youth pages of the web site.
